Who are you hosting by or are you running a dedicated server?
-
Loot spawns and some buildings you. An stand by some buildings and zombies stop chasing you like there patching is messed up like some invisible wall is blocking them from getting to me
These are all very common issues with the game itself and not related to the Epoch mod.

Hello, just a quick mention. If you followed the original guide to the letter, your scripts will be in: custom\snap_build\
Assuming you copy and pasted Cen's fixed player_build.sqf the path in the fixed player_build.sqf will need to be corrected as Cen has his scripts in another directory.
Look for line line 226 in Cen's player_build.sqf
It will read:
s_building_snapping = player addAction ["Toggle Snapping", "scripts\snapping\player_toggleSnapping.sqf",_classname, 3, true, false, "",""];
As you can see the path is scripts\snapping\ and this is where Cen has his scripts. But the original post/author's instructions point to custom\snap_build.
All you need to do is change the above line to the following:
s_building_snapping = player addAction ["Toggle Snapping", "custom\snap_build\player_toggleSnapping.sqf",_classname, 3, true, false, "",""];
Have a nice day!

You have added something which redefined something in dayz_spaceinterrupt.sqf which is screwing with you.
Remove it and you'll be fine.

DayZAI will detect whatever map you are using and setup however you defined it. If you have STATIC AI on, every known city and military spawn (airports) will have AI patrolling it. If you have DYNAMIC AI on, an AI event will spawn randomly among the player list. If you define AI HELICOPTERS, whatever number of choppers you defined will spawn and patrol various routes around the map.
You can set the DayZAI debug mode on to see the patrols via your map.
If you want to define more static spawns at custom or added bases on your map, you can read instructions in the appropriate map named file at:
DZAI/init/world_map_configs/custom_markers & DZAI/init/world_map_configs/custom_spawns.

I don't mean to be rude nor post off topic, but as you're made this public I figure why not.
You're one of these admin who use hac...err "antihacks" to your own advantage. In other words, you don't play the game legit. That's all and fine but it's destructive to the game in general and obnoxious to players who have to work to actually build stuff. You might feel you are being helpful but you are absolutely not. You're showing off and if you are giving stuff to players, like free buildings, you're establishing an expectation.
Either way, you spawned the box without any discussion with the guy. At no point did you mention saying to him not to take anything out of the box. Yet you call him a thief? I'm not sure how you consider him a thief. Had he taken something he was told not to take...that would make him a thief. No, you spawned a huge box of goodness in front of him with zero instructions. Of course he's going to take stuff out of the box!
Instead of talking to him and showing the player a modicum of respect, you abuse your admin powers to harass and bully him.
You should post your server details so people can know to avoid it.

Ok. You believe it to be a BattlEye problem. Let's start there. Click -> http://www.battleye.com/download.html
You can download and manually install the BattlEye files.
Now, about your game installation. Did you install Arma II and Arma II:OA through steam? If so, did you run Arma II, close it, then run Arma II:OA and close it? This allows all the game files to be written correctly.
Next, you should have installed DayZ Commander and installed both the BETA updated file as well as the Epoch mod files.
If you have done all of this and are still having the problem, plz try to install the basic DayZ Mod and see if it runs without a problem.
The more you can troubleshoot the problem the better we can help you.

SargeAI is a very detailed AI manager which offers so much customization that it's a well known lag inducing resource hog on most hosted/virtual servers.
Personally, I'd go with DayzAI, as it's a bare bones AI manager and seems more suited for your needs. If all you really want are AI to patrol cities, for example, you can't beat DayZAI.

Well, this isn't a glitch. Personally, I would argue it to be a hack as it's a third party application being used. It's a "mouse clicking simulator" which relies on color/pixel elements much the same as an Aimbot does.
I'd add to the motd or beannouncements saying it's against the rules and start banning people who do it.
But that's just me.
-
Not to be difficult but, are you absolutely certain you're running a vanilla install of epoch, no additions, except for DayZAI? Because DayZAI wouldn't cause the problem you are describing. And a vanilla install shouldn't be having the problem you describe either.
-
The logs aren't really going to answer the real question that needs answering. How are they duping the gold?
-
I have to assume it isn't a vanilla epoch installation, so, what additions have been added to your server?
-
Hi DrHat
Have you been able to fix this issue ? As my server got the same issue and so far I haven't been able to fix it. Any help be great.
Thanks hope to hear from you soon
So, you upgraded to 1.0.3.1, are using a vanilla install with no additions, and the epoch traders are not spawning into the game?
-
Does this only happen on one specific server? Do others have the same issue on this same server?
Have you reinstalled Epoch?
-
You can add:
_this setVariable ["permaLoot",true];

Sorry, I misunderstood the original question.
The linked debug monitor obviously has an issue where the dayz_spaceInterrupt causes base building movement keys to not work.
It seemed easier to me to simply put the debug code in the current debug monitor which is already a toggle and call it a day.

I get that the OP is talking about a glitch that makes getting into combination lock based doors easy. But I would like to know more about the glitch. Is it a real thing? I haven't seen other complaints about it.
As far as the "If codes were changeable by the owners..." comment, they absolutely are. Open the door, remove the lock, then reinstall the lock for a new code.
Then he goes on at the end to say "lower chance at cracking the code..." which implies he isn't necessarily talking about a glitch so much as his players spending a week trying every combination to unlock people's bases.
Which I think is great. Honestly, if a guy spent a week trying every combination on my lock to get into a base he couldn't do a damn thing in anyway...I'd be thrilled at the amount of work he put into it. A bit confused as to why, but whatever.

Personally I hate admin tools. No admin who uses them plays the game legit again. So, to me, they are far more destructive then they are helpful.
Either way, the issue isn't Epoch related but an issue with the admin tool. Maybe ask on their forums?
-
Would you please post the sql you use to damage base pieces ?
-
If you were to remove the admin tools, would the plot pole build correctly?
This will at least tell you whether it's an epoch issue or an issue with the admin tools.
-
Forgot there is also a need to change the location of your player_monitor.sqf in dayz_mission\init.sqf
//Run the player monitor _id = player addEventHandler ["Respawn", {_id = [] spawn player_death;}]; _playerMonitor = [] execVM "\z\addons\dayz_code\system\player_monitor.sqf";
-
Who is your host? This 'should' be done via the database.
-
Exactly where is the gold duplication happening in these logs?
If it's true you can dupe gold, this is a very serious situation that must be looked at immediately.

Hmm, I won't be able to offer any help as I am unfamiliar with running a dedicated server.
Did you go through the same steps you used in running the server on the previous version of Epoch?
