Noob question coming up! If I was to add the vehicles to the server side and client side, does that mean in order for others to enter our server they have to have that also downloaded on their side? Or can they enter and just not use the vehicles? They need more of these to be simply put in server side and not client side that way their is less downloading needed

Sorry unerground2 this will sound probably pretty stupid, but for the new vehicles what is it I have to download or install , the mas weapons mod or something else? Maybe I am just being a derp tonight but having some brain farts.

unerground2 is that an epoch server that you have a police car on? or different just cause been wanting to see if its possible to add police cars to our server but no luck on figuring it out yet.

It seems like either its messed up or just not working properly, any way to reset it?

So, we got a server going,any time anyone leaves the server meaning just logging out and and comes back, they end up in debug as a new player with no gear, any ideas as to what could be causing this?

Before all that we have some sort of -autoInit -malloc=tbb4malloc_bi -mod=@Epoch;@EpochHive;@AllInArmaTerrainPack, should that not be there? there is also some crap after it like name=A3E_Server etc, should that be taken out too?

Having the same issue, a3 launcher isn't picking up our server

Some what the same is happening for us, we spawn and are in some area with like cyro tubes where bodies are in, we don't seem to spawn at the normal area

I went into that, found something on here earlier put myself into the owner part also high admin part, maybe I didn't put it right don't know, the person who owned this server had something else for tools and im not sure if that would still be running on ours and blocking the epoch tools out, Ill keep checking I guess, when I edited the owner and high admin with my steam id and name the server still ran but pushing f1 didn't work

I have pushed f1 nothing happens, not sure maybe if something is missing, we recently had someone who was with us leave and he had control of everything however gave control over to me and my friend who now pay for the server but are dumbfounded on what's going on

Alright so slowly figuring this stuff out I apologize if this topic has already been wrote about but trying to figure out how to get the admin menu to come up, not sure how to do that, I am very noobish so would prefer if someone could help me, as I don't want to mess anything up which I am sure I would, if someone could would appreciate it a lot. Once again sorry if a post like this has been put up before didn't want to sit and look through all these topics.

So not sure if its been talked about, I am new here and still looking through all the posts, but noticing there is no god mode at the moment for admins yes invisible helps but rather players can see the admin there, also no unlimited ammo which I think is just for fun as you can just give yourself ammo but still would like to see it added for admin use. Also vests and headgear is missing which sucks any plans on starting to put those in so we can complete our looks? last but not least the F5 key to move ahead faster is handy to have but isn't there? lol . Btw, so its not just all complaining, I do appreciate all the work done so far, you guys are doing great, I am loving epoch for arma 3, I have been waiting since I heard news of it coming up I was extremely excited and now that we have a server, it definitely hasn't disappointed us, so please keep up the good work you guys are amazing at what you do!

Yeah god mode needs to be put in, too many times ive seen admins go great a player only to get shot at right away, good admins will never abuse the power, also unlimited ammo would be a nice touch

Definitely got to agree, its nice when you are trying to build a base and there is a $5 base building bundle which includes wood, cinder blocks, etc, instead of spending a 1000 hours finding very little it indeed helps. If people want to donate to the server to help keep it running I welcome it, and they just for that, would get a gift back randomly by an admin as a thank you. I think there is many ways to make it work, to keep servers going and keep things fair. Good admins can certainly also go a long way into how the server works and many players enjoy it. If you free work and say you don't want money for it then don't take money but don't sit there and stop a server from being prosperous if it's helping them stay up and keeping quality players, make a deal with said server if need be, go in and see how it works and go from there. Probably going to see a thousand servers go up but hopefully end up with a few quality servers with good people in them. I hope this post is okay here just wanted to throw my opinion out there.
