So your looking to be more then 25% of the server population? Sounds like good way to nerf that kinda sized group to have 2 groups. Sure I like big groups but that kinda size makes it kinda silly, you just want to steamroll yourselfes through the servers never losing gear and shit.
 
To un sportful for my taste.

Currently the placed mines are server timed, meaning that they are a placeable object that resets on server restart, they wouldnt carry over.
Traps would be different though (bear traps, rope traps that catch you and you need a knife to get out quickly or you have to wiggle free. etc.)

so please hear me out before you kick the shit outta me and my idea , I dunno if its been suggested in the past but what I was thinking is that within the 30m radar jammer radius you could place defensive traps that would persist until set off by an aggressor. these traps would be limited in number so as not to turn the area into a minefield and would persist over server restarts if they are placed within the boundaries of the radar jammer.
 
the same rules would apply to placing them inside the radar jammer area , being that only you or your squad can build there and all would get the location as if theyd placed them (ie the red triangle of death)
 
traps could be the mines and such already available in game but not limited to just that with some imagination and creativity :).

I honestly think this has no place in Epoch or any other multiplayer server. It is cool don't get me wrong, but this is a multiplayer server and I think this would just give people a drastic game braking advantage. 

how can it be an exploit when everyone in the server has the ability , that is intended game functionality.

In video games, an exploit is the use of a bug or glitches, game system, rates, hit boxes, or speed, etc. by a player to their advantage in a manner "not intended by the game's designers.

He´s just pissed that he don´t have the skill to adapt.. Is it maybe 5% of the server pop that camps towers and as soon as a semiskilled guy comes past the camper is dead.

How is third person an exploit? Its part of the game design..

aye same here although everyone ingame always says it's the key underneath Esc key so I'm guessing that is now classed as tilde instead of: ~
