Building your own scripts

Hi all,

 

I've just rented my own Epoch server and wondered if there are any guides to building your own scripts and mods?

 

I'm relatively new to coding, but I am starting a Computing course at Uni in September 2015 and thought that Epoch would be a good base to start learning a bit of coding. Have already started learning Objective C which is fairly similar to C++ so I have an understanding of if statements, bools etc....

 

Any help would be great :)

Best tip would be to check someone elses scripts first and perhaps check the Bohemia Interactive Wiki here:

They have a lot of examples and explanations of how they work.

Best thread to start with.

 

I would suggest you start using Opendayz more if you want to learn to code. Its got more 'experienced' users (due to the fact that the forum is for many different dayz versions) and tons of resources...epoch is specialized to just that.....epoch.
