Solo mission tactics?

So every time i go to a mission i find a place far away to snipe them,usually around 600-700m and cant get any more far because of the view distance so i always try to take down the m2 gunners but every time i shoot one gunner out all the ai is aiming at me and when i peek out to take another shot i get killed instantly,i tried changing my position but i can only take out 1-2 ai and then the mission times out .Maybe would work to one guy getting their attention and others spraying them in the back with machineguns but most of the time i play solo.If anyone has any tips pls share em.

yea i have this too when alone, but when a 4 manned sqaud its nice and yes those m2 are a pain i already checked if i can pull them of a mission but i dont know where to look

900m+ seems to work better (on our servers I've had consistent hits at 950m with M110, view distance was not an issue, there), sometimes the AI doesn't seem to hear you, at all.

Lying on a slope, highter than the AI, facing downwards, seems to work wonders, too (bullet impacting in front of you, then, 1s later you hear the firing sound ;-).

Having a good field of view on the approaches to your position is crucial, at least Wicked AI fans out quite far and tries to circumvent you.

I'm not the best player, I never had a successful mission at ranges <500m, they always get around me, even if they don't get me with direct return fire.

Other then that: first take out the M2, then the snipers then the MGs, STANAG guys last.

 

And don't forget to watch your back for the human vultures.... ;-)
