Server running a different version ***Fix For Dedicated Box***

Hi,

 I know a lot of people have had the problem When Joining we had this issue This server is running an incorrect version of the server side application. You cannot play on this server. If you are the server admin please contact DayZ staff..

 

If you have followed this = 

 

If you have already applied the Server hotflx available 1.0.4b

 

and your still getting these errors in your rtp log [see below]

  You need to manually register the .dll files in the Binaries folder of the setup rar  I did this and as soon as I did the issue was solved.

What if im running a server through HFB? they are so slow at doing stuff. I have copied those files over but still getting that error.

 If your not running a dedicated box then you will not have access to do this, I only added this because I saw a couple of post with people with dedicated servers and home servers that had the above issue, If you have a server hosted then they have to provide the fix.

Sucks. Server providers take forever. I used to host DayZ priv and they was so fast with updates and support.

HFB seem to take a long time. took them 3 days to answer a support ticket.

Perfect. GOing to try this out, we are having this exact issue. All the server files work on my PC, do not work on my VPS and a friend's PC. I had given up waiting for something to come out. Throwing all the files together to try this out.

Will all the issues people having with server hosters at times I want to offer people for me to do it for them on my own server. Always wind up thinking it over again. Server hosters for DayZ rip people off and provide terrible performance/service.

This is not working for us again. It will not allow us to register the dlls. Anyone have another avenue for us to get this update going? I have never ran into this issue before.

 

 

We are getting this error on a PC and the server.

 

The module DLL may not compatible with the version of Windows that you're running. Check if the module is compatible with an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of regsvr32.exe.

 

After attempting to use the syswow64\regsvr32 we now get this error

 

 

.dll Loaded but entry-point 'DllRegisterServer' was not found

Forgive me for asking this, but how do you manually register .dll files?
