deleting dead bodies after x minutes

Hi,

 

Is it possible to remove dead bodies after an x amount of minutes rather then waiting till the tally reaches 300?

If so, how would this be done?

Do you mean dead player count in the database?

On your database:

SELECT * FROM character_data WHERE alive = 0

On our website we have a simple web tool:

 

 

You can use such a concept to set a timer as an EVENT to carry out this clean up (or have it manual :) ).

Just a note, removing dead players will delete the most recent death of a player so it may delete his humanity. There was a post about that ill see if i can find it.

Oh sorry for being unclear here. I mean on the server itself.

The database is cleaned every 12 hours.

I believe the server uses this function through the server monitor, server_spawncleanDead. It is located in the server_functions.sqf and I believe its used for cleaning dead zombie bodies. You could use it as a basis for a script to clean dead player bodies.
