Epoch-Lingor Buildings

michaelny

Question

Hi there,

first off happy new year!!!

I am reworking the epoch lingor map for our private server in the ARMA 3D Editor but for some reason the lingor buildings are not available within the editor.

Could someone help me how to get these or how to add them please.

Same is for the lingor plants .... but most important are the buildings.

Thanks

http://www.armedassault.info/index.php?cat=addons&id=569

Else, place these files (MDB_Buildings2 & ibr_plants) in your root arma folder (folder with @NAME, map inside wit addons, place .pbo) and load these with startup parameters

If all else fails, look up the building that you want on http://dayzdb.com/map/lingor

open the picture on the righthand side in a new tab, it will tell you the classname. Now, place whatever (like a barrel) in the editor and save the map. Edit the mission.sqf renaming barrels with the classname you got from the database. Reload the editor, and presto!

hey thank you.

the first thing you wrote did not show up in my ARMA II OA Editor even though I did install it like any other mod ..... but your second advise about the class names did do the trick.

I placed some buildings and renamed them via the biedi file and went back into the editor ...now I could just move em around and just use cope/paste to make more and they just show up perfectly well within the game on the server.

Thanks

Digging through my old lingor edits I found this mod line.  You'll need to have each editor update downloaded and installed in your arma2OA root with the rest of the @dayz folders.  I probably used this or some combination of these add ons.  The below mod line will have some duplicate buildings.  Depending on how you launch your dayz for the editor you'll want to remove some.  For example if you launch it as epoch then go into the editor I don't think you'll need to have the @MAP there, I believe it's included in Epoch.

-mod=@Jon_EditorUpdate;@OA_Editor,@ASG;@MAP

I have a bunch of nice additions for lingor as well. I'll see if I can find some for you if you'd like some pre built stuff.
