Joerivang
The picture is 444kb, other scripts (including r3f tow and lift (excluded arty system)) 300kb.
Bungle
Try reducing the size of your Loadscreen if you can. (Increasing the compression ratio if its a JPG to the point you are happy with quality vs size.) I have a loadscreen that is 2048x1024 and its sitting at 74.5kb Example - http://i.imgur.com/GHXkcTC.jpg There may also be some fluffer you can remove from your extra script added but that wont reduce it that much. Achmed
Personally i don't get why people want tiny mission files. Yes it needs to be downloaded etc but in the days of broadband it hardly takes long to download a 2 Mb file. Is there any advantage to running scripts server side them client side? or is it only for mission file size?
Bungle
Some scripts when moved to the mission can increase performance.. also protects the code inside (to a degree) if your using your own made custom scripts.
fr1nk
I try to move what I can to the server, but a lot of scripts won't work unless in the client file. If it weren't for the Air Raid script written by mmmyum, my mission.pbo would be around 585k....with the script, it's around 2.5mb. But like Matthew said, with most internet these days, the difference in download times is mere seconds.
