Dayz Epoch: How do i make epoch buildings not decay over time, make them invincible, and change the max buildable object limit within 30 meters?

Just like the topic says.. Id like to make buildable objects, walls, doors ect. invincible to damage and never decay over time. I would also like to change the max buildable objects within 30m from whatever it is default to a number slightly larger, as no really good base can be made at the current limit. (mod dayz: Epoch btw)

In your mission file change decay to (-1) and the object damage to (-1), this will give you indestructable objects that are built

To be honest, all this could be done with just using the search function on this forum, but here we go:

 

1. To make built items not decay:

 

Go to your Hivext.ini and change the "CleanupPlacedAfterDays" line to -1. If you use Dayz.st you have to send them a ticket to do this.

 

2. To make your built items invincible you can use this topic:

3. To change the max buildable objects, you have to go to your mission file, open the init.sqf and add the following:

 

DZE_BuildingLimit = 300; // with 300 being the amount of building items you want to allow within 30 meters.

i have done these on my server but buildings still disapear. i just didd a restart and it disapeared

We actually set all Epoch maps to cleanup = -1 by default, preferring to use DB events to handle cleanup.
