Autobanning HELP!

Hey Guys,

 

Haven't posted much in here yet.  Trying to find my way as much as I can on my own.  I had an A3 server a few months back and couldn't get the server to stop autobanning players.  It would not however ban admin.  Eventually I got frustrated and killed the server.  I recently opened another A3 server in hopes that the bugs have been fixed but it doesn't not appear that way. 

We are using Vert to host it and are bare bones with the exception of Esseker, allinarma terrain, and infistar.  Currently running the newest epoch as well.  I have been back and forth with vert working out a couple of other bugs, and finally got the server to start and run.  At that time we were getting a few script restriction kicks which seem to be fixed now and had the same issue with autobanning.  Vert thought they had the issue fixed and I was excited to get on this morning and start working on the server again and as soon as I logged in got autobanned.  I have not yet added myself as admin for testing purposes so I'm not sure if admin are getting banned or not.  Previously i was.  Anyway, I'm sure others have had the same problem and have figured out the fix for it.  Any help you guys could offer would be much appreciated.  I am still learning as I go so please be patient with me haha.  Below is a cut and paste from the logs when i got kicked this morning.

If I costar is autobanning you maybe that is your problem. You can just use the built in Epoch Antihack and admin tools instead.

There isn't enough info to see why, that log info is not a kick or ban, if you're banned then look in bans.txt, the reason might be there, if kicked then what was the kick message ? try without infistar or if you're sure infistar is banning you then contact Chris (Infistar)

The error messages you've posted could be many things, servers FPS looks fine, possibly a bad script, it could be anything.

Thanks guys, had some help getting the bans fixed.  now running into another problem with non admin players getting disconnected to the lobby every 2-3 mins but not kicking them from the server fully.  Not seeing any in game messages other than "playername" disconnected.

Again these are infistar logs, you're best off contacting Chris for support, it's his work so any issues should be directed to him, that way he can either advise you or roll out a fix.

Will do.  Thanks Richie.  Sent him a ticket a little while ago.  Ill let you know the response.  I didn't know if it was possibly a common problem that someone else may have encountered and was a simple fix.

To me that log looks like it detected a script by you, admins are exempt though, it's either a false positive or you have something running you shouldn't, Chris will know better.

Once you get it resolved reply here with the fix, it will help others, good luck.
