Update Issue

Hey Guys,

 

Just updated our server to 0.3.1.0, and the server keeps restarting.

 

So, we're using Australia as the map. We have AiA TP and Australia installed. It's getting to the point where it says that we're connected to the steam server, and appears in the multiplayer area. It starts downloading the mission file, then stops and restarts.

 

This is the last line showing in the rpt file:

22:41:37 "Epoch: Starting ArmA3 Epoch Server, Version 0.3.1.0"
22:41:37 Unable to get file version size: C:\....\@epochhive\epochserver.dll

Anyone able to shed some light?

There are loads of errors in there relating to australia... LOADS!

Next on the RPT should be the loading of database objects, so i'd say your DB is the issue :unsure:

When you updated you didn't accidently overwrite epochserver.ini ? have a look and make sure it's right.

Hmmm, Gaming Deluxe just provide update scripts to do the upgrades. The IP and port look correct, but I'm not sure what the password for it should be :-S

Password should match what's in your redis.conf

It started ok this time.

The epochserver.ini file option had a note against it to resave redis.conf. So I opened that one, saved it (no changes), and the server did restart itself twice I think, but it let me in the end

Maybe, would be interesting to see why it restarts, but I'm tired now lol
