mimic Posted May 6, 2015 Report Share Posted May 6, 2015 Hello, I updated my server to 0.3.0.3 last night and setup the config to restart the server every 4 hours. 4 hours after restart the server was locked and players kicked. But the server never shutdown. It stayed up and locked. I started my server at 23:01, and it should have restarted at 03:01. vbawol Posted May 6, 2015 Report Share Posted May 6, 2015 looks like it was still kicking players, this happens fairly slowly right now to ensure that we have time to save. If it was actually kicking players then it was working and you just need to wait till there are no more players left in the server. Are you using any headless clients or anything that is able to rejoin while the server is locked? All the object not found messages make the think there are some issues with kicking IT would be good to know more about if it is a player that is not getting kicked or something else like a HC. BEC don't care. #shutdown=GTFO! :lol: I have a headless client running my AI and Missions. No other players were on the server. Based on what Awol said above, it's likely that the HC still being connected is why the shutdown refuses to happen. BEC don't care. #shutdown=GTFO! :lol: Same here , also I'm one for consistent restarts , ie : at 4 , 8 and 12 , with the new system , until it's changed , you will always lose a few minutes every restart , next thing you know restart is at 4:11 , 8:12 , and so on . It appears to be working now. Every 4h it restarts, kicking players and giving warnings as it should. Thanks for the quick fix. MoSquTo; I have infi* installed on my server and it doesn't interfere with this. Make sure you've updated all your DLL's and PBO's with the ones included in the server files. Bans.txt BEServer.dll Beserver.cfg I only use these files because I let infistar capture most of the scripters/Hackers and this solves allot of fiddling arround in BE. Thanks in advanced! Also the server does this cant copy and paste for some reason. Starts the shut down, spams every 30 seconds Server shutdown now. but never does shut the server down. And that your files are corrupt. Are you running Windows server or Linux? Also I found out that you need to use the External IP for your server instead of the localhost (127.0.0.1) to make sure the restart of your server to work. Hi SneakyDude, BattleEye needs to be enabled otherwise the restart won't work. You can use both IP as long the server can reach the battleye.
