melaw Posted April 7, 2015 Report Share Posted April 7, 2015 Hi! I have a huge problem. Last week I could play Overpoch just fine everywhere. Today me and a buddy tried again. After joining the server, I can see the ingame screen for a sec, then the screen turns black (or gray or white) and nothing happens anymore. Relogging shows "you are banned" or "banned for hacking". This is on >90% of all overpoch servers out there. I do not run any dubious software nor did I ever have that problem before. What on earth is wrong there? Thanks!!! ElDubya Posted April 8, 2015 Report Share Posted April 8, 2015 You are running the Steam beta of Arma2 OA that was pushed out a few days ago to people that chose the "opt-in" option in Steam. Open steam library - right click ARMA2 OA, the one with most hours on it - properties - betas - 1.62 - force update it - then change it to NONE and it should be working. I did the force-upgrade and back to NONE. Now I have to wait for all those servers to unban my "behind" so I can test that...
