Lockbox Issue

I recently found a lockbox in a traders inventory on one of the Epoch servers I play on. As a solo player with no base, I figured a lockbox would be invaluable for storing gear I want to keep without having to constantly switch items in and out of my pack based on what I needed at the time. So I traded as much gear as I had to in order to empty my pack so I could take the lockbox.

 

Being pretty new to Arma and Epoch, I had no idea how the build system worked, or if I needed anything else to build it other than the box itself and energy. So I figured I'd give it a go and then cancel out if I needed to. As soon as I saw the lockbox placed on the ground I tried to cancel the process, but couldn't figure out how to do it. So naturally I did the only thing I could do - I ran around like a maniac trying to find a relatively decent spot to hide it! I had a very small amount of energy when I started, so before I got very far, the build sequence stopped when it ran out.

 

This brings me to my issue - the box is now placed on a hill under a tree branch and I am unable to access it, pack it up, or basically do anything with it. I've tried to access it from every angle I could, but I never see any options. I never entered a combo for it either, as I never got that option after my energy ran out. It has remained in the same spot after multiple server restarts, so it doesn't seem to be going anywhere. Is there anything I can do to pack it up or even use it in its current placement? Or should I just say screw it, chalk it up to a learning experience, and just move on?

Ask the admins.. Decent ones will help you out.

 

Even they can't access it, but should be able to delete/replace it for you.

Chop down the said tree and you should be able to access it.

I've read that trees or rocks could be an issue if in close proximity, so maybe I'll try the tree option first. Worth a shot anyways!

I figured a server admin could be an option, and I'll try that as a last resort for sure.

yeah chop down the tree and u should get the unlock option and the pack option 

 

if that doesnt work try entering build mode (hit 1 on your keyboard) then space bar to pick it up and place it again, as you never placed it properly it could still be stuck in build mode so you cant access it...
