Alright so slowly figuring this stuff out I apologize if this topic has already been wrote about but trying to figure out how to get the admin menu to come up, not sure how to do that, I am very noobish so would prefer if someone could help me, as I don't want to mess anything up which I am sure I would, if someone could would appreciate it a lot. Once again sorry if a post like this has been put up before didn't want to sit and look through all these topics.

I have pushed f1 nothing happens, not sure maybe if something is missing, we recently had someone who was with us leave and he had control of everything however gave control over to me and my friend who now pay for the server but are dumbfounded on what's going on

epochAH.hpp is the file you want to check and throw your steam id into

I went into that, found something on here earlier put myself into the owner part also high admin part, maybe I didn't put it right don't know, the person who owned this server had something else for tools and im not sure if that would still be running on ours and blocking the epoch tools out, Ill keep checking I guess, when I edited the owner and high admin with my steam id and name the server still ran but pushing f1 didn't work

you also have to put your guid into the BEC

okay make sure you are entering your steam64id in the correct place epochah.hpp listed below will be an example

All that shit in green is to tell you how it works...  If you have done that already correctly then goto your C:\where-your-main-arma3-server-is-installed. goto the "BEC" folder Copy the BEserver.dll file and copy overwrite in your "SC\battleye" folder and / or where your battleye directory is called from the config.cfg (battleye config)

 

What happens when people install BEC for the first time it uses battleye's stock BEserver.dll and overwrites the Modified Epoch Variant. the file size is different by a couple of bytes... I have made this mistake. 

 

This should hopefully take care of it. If not.... send me a PM and ill walk it through with you on my Teamspeak.

I am having the same issue too, my server is hosted at Vilayer, I have put a ticket in as I have tried everything and still no joy. It is a clean install with Chernarus and the admin tool was working fine with 0.2.5.1 if I find a fix I ill post it here but anyone else who has had this problem and fixed it could post up a fix that would be cool.

It does actually surprise me there is no operational instructions for this chipshop tool. I thought they would have put a simple ABC for people, they must realse that people will ask these types of questions?

When you load up BEC does it show that the watchdog plugin loaded? Did bec write the new publicvariable.txt file?

 

did you also copy the "bec" BEserver.dll file and overwrite the file in the sc\battleye folder? 

If you refer to me, yes, it does. I can see that I'm logged in as "Super Admin".

However, I can't find what key to press to bring up the menu.

 I heard back from Vilayer this morning BadTrip and it seems the issue is at their end and will be fixed when their coder returns from his Christmas break but they have not said when that will be, fucking crap service if you ask me, I am thinking about finding a better provider, try putting a ticket in mate, the more they get the more the more chance of them pulling their fingers out of their arses.

Unfortunatley i found the more they get the more they ignore. This is what made me leave them. Sending in 100 tickets wont make their coder return from xmas break any faster, so they will just ignore them.
