All of the other brown dot traders are killable and that is intentional. I do not think it can be changed, at least not at this point. From what I understand, vehicles in a trader count against your vehicle spawn count after server restart. In other words if all the vehicles on the map are in the traders then you won't have any to spawn on the map. Killing traders is a good thing for the server as it will put those vehicles in that dead trader back on the spawn rotation on the map after restart. As far as the black non killable traders, we had an issue with a server on a stratis map that all but 4 vehicles had been sold to the black traders. The only fix for that is for someone to buy the vehicles from them and then sell them to a brown trader (then shoot the brown trader in the head). brillo_pad Posted December 6, 2014 Report Share Posted December 6, 2014 i think the "on purpose" killing of traders mechanism is a nice touch, provide its expanded on a bit. i would like to see city / town / area bans for people killing traders or an increase in price [like bandit trading] to that particular trader from then on, only going down with each thing you sell to him. i really wont miss god mode traders and endless supplies. Loop through them after initialisation when they've loaded in, and use allowDamage false. You could do this in the client files (as the server runs the mission for itself) and with an if (isServer) conditional, then do your business.The vendors' locality is to the server so this effect is global. This is the easy way (and ugly ;) ). I guess you could have the clients do it (local effect then), but again, ugly.
