admin tool not working

ok so after messing all day i got a local server running on my pc and i can get in game on my steam account 

 

i hit f1 and nothing happens.

 

i followed the read me files added my steam id found using steam id finder. and put my ingame name as the admin name...

 

i installed all the files frmo the zip folder as described  (inlcuding the bec addon) and yeah the admin panel doesnt work at all...

 

not sure why ... do i have to log in as admin? if so how....???

have u set ur steamid and Playername in epochAH.hpp in 2 lines ?

no. i think my problem was i didnt install bec.... derp again... im just trying to config bec now... but again having issues....

any help with setting up BEC  just got it installed in a new directory on the same ssd as the epoch server (server works fine i can connect and play)(just cant access admin panel with bec)

 

where im stuck is setting up the bec config file.......

question: why would bec matter for admin control?  I don't have bec connected to my server and it is running fine.

Because the readme.txt says you need BEC with a plugin for the AH to work

 

As of 0.2.5 you must use BEC (http://ibattle.org/) with watchdog plugin (included in BEC folder) if you are using our built-in Anti-Hack and Admin Panel.

cant see BEC anymore ! worked now over 2 hours on it to get it work, finaly it works =)

ok ill try again. (had to take mrs to work)
 
i havethe server files installed and running. along with redis. i can launch arma find my local server and connect. if i push f1 nothing happens.... i mean nothing at all... sooo i realised i hadnt actually install bec like it meantioned... i just had the bec\plugin folding in my arma 3 directory 
 
so i downloads bec in a nice lil zip. unpack its contents into the "BEC folder in my arma3 diretory.
and now im having issues setting up the config file...

i tried a few differnt things and got it sort ofwoking but when launching bec it would not connect ot server and then would close

ok im getting somewhere now. server and redis running and saving fine..... i can log in, loot and log out again, i have bec connecting with server. and doing all the right things??

 

i log in and bec says admin spurgle has logged in.... (had to create a "admin xml"

 

no here it is .. im in it says im in as admin but yet i hit f1 and nothing... zip . f all...

 

now im guess here but i guess where i have not made a commands.xml the bec and watchdogs plug doesnt no what commands a admin can do....

 

so what im asking now is how do a make one or is there a file there already??? for the commands???

Maybe you're not properly ordered myself an admin, file epochAH.hpp?

He's trying to say you might not have your steam ID correctly placed in the epochAH.hpp file. 

 

should look like this:

adminMenu_Owner[] = {{"xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx","MyMumsName"}};

xxx's being your SteamID  and MyMumsName being whatever creative name you can think of :)

yeah i set myself to admin on there and the bec client shows me connecting as admin when i join the server... i just cant do anything ie push F1

 

im currently starting from scratch downloading the 2.5.1 files instead now
