Battleye Publicvariable restriction #386

Hi all

 

One of our players gets a restriction kick for #386

 

When i check the publicvariable.log it tells me: PVAHR_0_jmlwwtl_54460

 

When i google that i can't find anything about it.

Maybe you guys know?

Your issue seems to be related to the AntiHack that you have running, i would contact whoever works on the anti-hack and also make sure you have the latest compatible BE filters for it.. You may also want to check what filter you have in publicvariable.txt for the corresponding kicks and see if it means anything to you.

PS. I would be more worried about censoring out the players IP instead of his GUID, as there isn't really anything that people can do with your GUID apart ban from their server...

We let the player change his name and now he can join fine.

His in-game name was: [s&D] DJJPX [Leader]

 

Yes really with [Leader] in it.

 

Can i add the "PVAHR_0_jmlwwtl_54460" to the publicvariable.txt (if so, where should i add it?)

Then it was probably something in his name causing it, have had it before myself. Just got them to change their names.

I would leave your filters the way they are.

 

Your publicvariable.txt most likely already contains something along the lines of

5 "PVAHR_"

The player told me he used the name on other server without problems.

I'm using the latest BE filter from infistar.
