Error with install: "it is already installed from a different location"

So earlier today i was getting on arma 3 and had a brilliant idea; why dont i just enable all my mods so i can just join any server without worrying about it :D

 

yeah, bad idea.

 

screwed everything up to where all i had was an 'exit' option in the arma 3 main screen. so i uninstalled and reinstalled; didnt help. then i deleted all my mods and that let me back into the game. now im reinstalling the mods but i cant get Epoch back. i keep receiving the following error:

 

"You cannot start application Epock Launcher from this location because it is already installed from a different location."

 

Ive done a complete system search and found no other epoch related files and yet i still cannot install the launcher again. does anyone knowh how to fix this?

Just deleted all Epoch files and clicked the DL link again. when i try and open the Setup application i got the message: "Application cannot be started. Contact the application Vendor."

Open arma 3 disable all addons reset open arma 3 enable epoch restart then open again and filter for epoch seemed to fix for people I know

Also check your install path is right

You can uninstall the launcher by uninstalling any launcher files manually (where you installed them in the first place) do a disk cleanup or ccleaner to clear temp files and registry files. Restart computer and try install again. There is a post in general discussions on how to install the launcher.

When playing epoch it's best to have all other mods disabled.
