fixatedspace Posted October 4, 2014 Report Share Posted October 4, 2014 Ok so, i have a hatchet and have been making different parts for a base ie. wooden floor, walls etc. So i place it with 4 and it places it in the world. Then it has a short timer 15 seconds then disappears. so i have to wooden floor in the world and then enable build mode with the 1 key. i got told to actually move it about with page up and down is by grabbing it with space bar but this doesn't work? Is it because my character is a woman? (half joke/half serious inquiry). I am charged with energy yet cannot build tipi kit nor shelf kit. Also have no idea how to get foundations as yet to attempt to build a flat floor. I am on White Trash Hick's server #3 if anyone reads this and wishes to help i play most mornings GMT, but would come on any time and go to any server to learn from a master builder! Kind of a big thing but definitely stops people just building straight away :). So to recap: (I am playing unofficial servers and base building does work) *MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ENERGY* (i had 1250 energy to build just a box base 1.Create part out of wood etc 2. double click to build 3. press 4 to place 4. press 1 to build mode 5. space bar to grab 6. page up and down to move up and down 7. q and e to rotate 8. press 1 to finish up Thanks guys!
