waynewr
What about if once players have established a base and have their plot pole built, having the ability to attract traders? Traders would turn up with random gear to trade with the slim chance of rare loot. A upgrade to the plot pole that would add a trader stand beside the pole that has a low chance to spawn a trader each reset (dose not show on map) Or perhaps if you are the owner of the pole, being able to pay through the group management function for a trader to spawn on your plot pole for a set duration (1 per server reset)

waynewr
If traders only spawned in behind or beside their small market stall and wearing non-player clothing that may help with that. And if they get shot, player shouts the first round of whiskey noddles :) carl101
axeman
Traders have the ability to travel between home and work and will stop to trade with a player if en route. Not sure if that update is in currently, as they also should look at close by players, but it would allow for a roaming trader.
