Capwned
Since the new update is out i have terrible fps drops. My average fps count was between 45-60 since ~2,5 years of DayZ. Now it is jumping from 5 up to 60 every 2 seconds and even if it is on 60 fps there are still micro laggs if i look around. My headache is indescribably after 30min of playing which isnt helpful to find a solution. There is no change of the fps drop with max settings or the lowest. I tried a lot of solution which looked like the most popular for arma 2 oa but the problem isnt gone. Any solutions or someone with the same problem? Millasaurus
You're definitely not alone, I've seen others complaining about this. Higher fps, but with stuttering.

BetterDeadThanZed
I'm having quite the opposite. Improved FPS, especially in cities.
raymix
For those who are stuttering, you got 2 options: 1) SSD, 2) play around with Object details in your video options (LODs are being read from HDD, which is slow and causing tiny bottleneck, thus stutter every time LOD is loaded). Higher values might drop fps, but reduce stuttering.
Capwned
For those who are stuttering, you got 2 options: 1) SSD, I placed the modfolders on my ssd but there is still no change. Or do you mean i have to place Arma 2 oa on the ssd? But i dont get it why this should fix the problem... even arma 3 is working on ~40fps on high settings. Atm my fps are jumping from 3-65 and 65-3 in less than a second.
