Spawn a prebuilt base?

Hi there,

 

First and foremost, thank you to every single scripter out there on the scene!

 

Without your hardwork, knowledge and patience there would be no private hives jazzed up to the max!

 

Have a query/question to anyone really -

 

I've been on a few epoch servers 1.0.4.2 recently who are admins using admintools...unsure of version, perhaps bluepheonix based that can spawn in a full prebuilt base for players.

 

This is down whilst the admin person is right infront of me, they use some sort of menu within their admin tools and instantly spawn a pre-built base there and then.

 

How can this be done?

 

Is it just something added to the admin tools menu, that pulls a prebuilt base from the 3d editor?

 

If anyone could point me in the right direction, I'd be a very happy chappy :)

I simply did this by copying the database files, for the building objects and launching them in in the infistar building section

I have however figured out something similar last night after posting to query about such additions to the admintools.

 

I have been able to add menus to the admin build menu within AdminTools from blue pheonix, which as "Just That Cool" said ealier about the building class names.

 

So now i can spawn any building from the database and instantly build it infront of myself.

 

Now the query lies with...how am i able to create a custom building (i.e one i have made myself in the 3d editor) and able to pull that from a database of building classnames?

 

Would i simply just build it via the 3d editor, give the building a name and export that to my database, then reupload the new database with the added custom building to my server, then......call that building when using adminbuild tool?

Particularly, wanting a large building with large animated roller shutters over the garage doors.  But cant seem to find this building object anywhere within the armaholic building class names :/

I use infistar to spawn in those buildings and the classname of that building is MBG_Warehouse_InEditor

 

That isn't in the armaholic thing because it is part of a building pack called mbg that comes with epoch .

Ahhhh i see...See i thought of using infistar, but to be fair i didn't see much point when i could use my own anti-hack and customise bluepheonix admin tools.

 

The build menu i've added and customised, similar to the way infistar works...saves straight to the database upon instant spawn.

 

But finally, i realise where people are getting these extra buildings :)

 

Will have to look up MBG and see what other stuff can be added to my menu of instant build recipes :)
