Friendly AI to guard your base.

Question

I was on a server a while ago. (They no longer offer it.) They had for fee, Ai that would guard your base and were friendly to you. However anyone else was KOS. I currently

run DZAI and WAI. The static spawns are no problem. But does anyone know of a way to maybe whitelist the UID from the AI to make them friendly? Ive never seen it done since.

my guess is it is done via either setfriends command or simply removing the ai's gear when certain playeruids are within line of fire ... either way i think it will be hard to make them act friendly and same time shoot only unfriendly players when the player in question is near (if you can understand).

 

most likely you can only set it to be unfriendly when that player is not near.

 

either way i think it would be better done not to mention easier and less resource heavy on your server if you just setup triggers with dome scripts to first warn and then either teleport the intruder away or kill him.

I'm pretty new to EPOCH server and not very used to the script... can you tell me or point me to a tutorial how to install the dome scripts to protect a base or a place?

search around for diffrent versions that can either remove weapons, teleport or both

That's why I found them so amazing. They didn't remove guns. and they were hostile to anyone that came in distance of your base. Friendly to you, hostile to everyone else. You could also give friends permission, and they would not get shot either.

could you not add arma AI (the derpy kind) as a set side with a call function? Like

 

(example for missions)
