  1. Hello,

    I was wondering if a server owner is allowed to use objects like for example "ItemDocument" or the zombies in another mod.
    On the front page of EpochMod.com it says:

    • Open source APL-SA Modders resource configs and Class List. Assets can be used as a mod dependency on Steam workshop.

    So does this mean I can create a non-epoch server and use epoch assets as like an "extra" mod, instead of the main mod?
    Maybe I'm just stupid but I want to be 100% sure of this before I start doing anything.

    I haven't played ArmA 3 Epoch in a few years but I was reading the 1.0 changelog and I saw this:

    • Hunger and Thirst loss rates are now affected by timeMultiplier.

    Do you guys really think this is a good idea? So by instance, a server owner wants to have nights last 20 minutes and it speeds up the time by 100. Does that mean that Hunger and Thirst also goes down 100 times as fast?
    If that's the case... Well in my personal opinion I don't feel like this is a good idea.

    I have a problem with my server, I can't spawn, I just see empty land in front of me and there's no character of me ( can't sse myself in 3rd person ).

  4. Hi everyone,

    I'm trying to setup an overpoch server on a dedicated machine. I got it fully working on my local machine, but when I try to run it on the dedicated machine, it says instantly 'Session Lost'. I don't know how this is possible, since the files should be exactly the same as on my local machine... It's both a Windows Machine btw (Dedi: WIndows Server 2012 R2, Local: Win10 Pro)

    Not sure what could be causing this problem to be honest, did I maybe forget to install something?

    I did:

    • Copy all DLL files from Epoch Server Files to my own server
    • Disabled Firewall and such ( I also tried installing Arma 2 on the dedicated machine and then connect to the server, still same problem )
    • Tried disabling things such as BattlEye and Verify Signatures in config.cfg
    • Added correct keys

    I have to say, I DID NOT use XAMPP to setup the database, I used MySQL Workbench... Could this be the problem? I did made an user account (Epoch_User) and I imported the Database from my local machine...
