My Idea: You cant buy backpacks, you only can find them very very very rarely or craft them. In order to craft them you need to hunt animals and gather the sutff. Example:1 Boar -> 2 Lether1 Sheep -> 1 WoolIn order to make a Czech Backpack for example you will need like 8 lether and 3 wool. Would increase the crafting and the hunting part of the mod a lot and also people with bigger backpacks will even more care about there lifes. (Got this idea while playing Far Cry 3 today :P)Opinions?

I already knew of this feature in 1.0.4 but i wanted to have a possibility in 1.0.3.1 too since i would like to get it working right now. So i have to wait, thanks mate for the help and imma try this view distance now.. should use forum-search more often.

@Mathe: Since they took a existing model and "just" changed it it will replace the old boring factorys and place this one so i dont think there will be any problems. If its custom placed you should be able to remove that anyways.
Its awesome! Realy nice work, i would love to see more houses enterable like in the Standalone.

Hello, is there a way up to set the render distance up by default so its automically at 5000m for example after restart? And is there a way to allowe people to build on roads in 1.0.3.1 already or do i ave to wait for 1.0.4?

I love that many mods use models from my favorite game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. ^_^ This on the screen right here is a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Model too and i would like to now by myself how this is possible since this i truely epic.

Whats the exact difference between a Small and a Large wall? I mean not just that the large on is bigger i mean in which direction does it improve? is it higher or wider?

Hello! I want to add the following things to my debug monitor:
A picture of the server banner.
An FPS counter.
A Location-Sign which shows you were you are at the moment.
Anyone know how to do this things? If you only know one or two of these would be great if you could write them down here also.

Hello. Example:
Im going to do a Mission with AIs with 2 people of my clan. So we go to the mission and kill the AIs and loot the stuff. When we want to enter the vehicle again afterwards we can't because mostly when one of us is in already the others dont get a option to "ride and back" or something since the fight against AIs is creating enemy groups i guess and so the game things we are enemys to eachother and we can't drive in one car. Is there any way to prevent Arma from doing this? Because of this bug there are only boring missions on the server atm where you only have to find a hidden crate in a big area and thats really boring.

Hello, on the server i'm playing on the Humanity is getting resetted to 2500 often when you die, is there a possibility to prevent the humanity to get resetted?

I dont like most of your suggestion and also if you say make it "new".. what should the devs get out of it? It could be anything then. And what do you mean with level ups? The thing is that if a new player is comming to the server all the players that are already playing for a long time on this server will just rape the new ones.

Hello, sometimes we have a problem that we cant get Fuel Trucks or the big MTVR's in the base. Its easy to get around this with towing but on server without towing you have to cut a hole in the wall first to get the big cars in. In our Base for example we got a cinder garage door and 2 wood garage doors but on both the Fuel Trucks and MTVR's wont fit. If we would set the Garage door a bit in the air so the door would be high enough that the big cars can pass it would be easy for everyone to get in the base with just crawling under them, so would it be possible to add even bigger garage doors within the next patches?
My other suggestion is that houses are always completely empty mostly, you can set up a few workbenches as tables for example but theres almost nothing to put in. Maybe you could add some paintings, bookshelfes or something like that and make it craftable so the houses wont be that empty anymore. With bookshelfes the so far useless books also would get a reason for existing.

No not server lags, i already have seen this strange thing on a few other servers too. On the server im playing on at the moment also the admins are saying its a bug. Its not on every server, maybe its caused by a script but on this server there aren't any special scripts, just the scripts the most other private Epoch Servers got too.

Nah this does not help, its the zombie KI itself i guess. Also if you hit them hit the head with a DMR sometimes you need several shots, really annoying exactly if you need to rapid fire at a zombie which is attacking you right in a fight with other players.

Hello, sometimes you need several DMR shots to kill a zombie. Its anykind of zombies and its really random, is there anyway to get rid of this?

So, just to make sure we both mean the same missions.pbo, its in this path: MainServerFolder/common/missions.pbo.The Init.sqf from this file contains the following stuff, theres not even a line 39.
Theres also a 2nd init.sqf in this mission file, path: "DayZ Server (E)\Common\missions\armory\Data\Scripts". Also in this file i cannot find preprocessFileLineNumbers.Oops, my bad, found it in the MPMissions.. this had nothing to do with the mission.pbo in common, thanks for the help!
€dit: Oh man, i just wanted to change such a little thing.. k, wheres the mission.pbo? You told me i need to change something in the mission.pbo bt everything i find are missions.pbos, a few of them. I changed the init.sqf, i changed the comples.sqf and i changed the player_build.sqf. what now?

I dont get anything, i found the missions.pbo and extracted it, there are 2 init.sqf but theres nothing in it i could change to my path. I dont know what i should change in the missions.pbo. Thats how far i am: I changed the player_build.sqf and changed the path of this .sqf in the comples.sqf file. But where should i change the path from the comples.sqf now?
