    kinda this...sadly i alrdy see this going rout of other mods that did same and died out fast. they limited the files or didnt allow people change server and it killed mods off very fast.
     
    me/hubby/others were waiting on a3 now this was just like a slap in face like breaking point pulled and told everyone on their forums to go fuck theirselfs.. i can see a3 epochs just going underground rout &  not lasting. thankfully theres still some other mods with same as epoch in Works.
     
    so enless devs plan to add shit tons options youcan off/on switch i dont see it working out very well. thing is the whole scripting made epoch servers & mod more fun. and just downright entertaining i played vanilla awhile. almost no servers exist for it anymore for good reasons. theres not really much into it other then farm town a or b and unload at traders.

    I don't think it would increase. Without access to file = no custom antihack, or other tools that can help administrators do their job. And seriously, one of the main reason Epoch is so popular is the variety on servers. And why would a big community go all in with a server they can't customize slightly to reflect their communities style? 
     
    While I see some positive things in this approach in the short run, I personally think an extended time with limited hosting access would kill the interest. 
     
    Again, we can only embrace it, so I am not going to fuzz any more about it for now :P

    When I add vendors, I just place any old friendly unit down and then go into the SQF and change the Classname to the one I want (From the traders.sqf)

    Adding completey new traders can be done the same way, just make sure you pick a class name that is not being used in the traders.sqf.

    Once you have the new trader in place on your map, make sure you add the class name to the list on the top of the traders.sqf. To give him a menu, just use an existing trader in the sqf as a template and change the classname to your new trader, and change the TIDs to the ones you want.

    I can put up a test server, but not until the weekend. I think BB 1.2 would be a good addition to this pack also

    If anyone has a test server only and wishes to test this please let me know. 
     
    I am still getting some kick restrictions from BE and would prefer not to retard it completely if I can/turn it off and ween out directly the issues via the RTP and log files.
     
    I am also yet to come across a AI pack so need to find them and make sure they are loading in with their skins, weapons and drops. If I cant find one I may need some help with my cleanup fsm or even the init.sqf...
     
    I am also looking to migrate in animated Plane/Heli Crashes dropping care packages, perhaps Base Building 1.2 if it has its purposes with updates coming and some more if people are interested in assisting.
    I would be more than happy to put this all on github so we can share and create this pack further to have a stable build for server owners.

    Base building working great. (just the small issue of the white keypad when changing the code)
    Here is a fresh epoch 1.0.1.1 server and mission pbo with basebuilding 1.2 and Improvements 0.1 for Chernaurs.

    Fixed all issues (but not the white keypad on edit code) everything working and saving now!!!!
     
    If anyone could help with the white keypad problem that would be great!
