  1. The QQ is strong in this post. Building a base is even easyer now with the new metal fragments all over the place.

    Step 1. LOOT (solo or in a group - group is better)

    Step 2. Build a teepee. ( even if you don't have a hatchet you can find lumber on most traders as people sell it for Krypto)

    Step 3. Hide your teepee good and store your mats in it.

    Step 4. Build a base when you have enough mats for a jammer and walls and don't start building untill you can secure your shit.

    Step 5. QQ when your base get's blown up and raided :D - Repeate steps 1-4

  2. Well than.. funk the banking system. I'll just keep my shit in gold bars in my lock box.

     

    I still think this is overkill.. as you still need to take out krypto to buy new gear on top of the krypto gear and loot lost. The Krypto sink is there already and people can just avoid using the banking system anyway.

    If you want a krypto sink make guns less available now that they are so expensive. Or at least make the super expensive ones very rare (lynx, M107) and the shit ones (SDAR, PDW) more common and cheap. And add a comission for transactions.

     

    This -100 krypto is like spraying fart spray on a big thurd :D. It serves no purpose coz Krypto is still suuuper easy to make.

  3. Not sure if this is an intended feature coz it wasn't mentioned in the patch notes.

    After death the balance in your account goes down by @100 Krypto. It can even go in the negative.

    Is this intended ? If yes than I find it a bit overkill. Not only do you lose all your gear and loot and the Krypto on you but you get punished by the Epoch corp as well? This is worst than the stock market. :))

     

    Can we get some official answer on this pls ?

  4. FFS.. you have lockboxes. Hide them well and your shit is secure. Your walls can be replaced and if you cry about a few walls missing that you would have lost your base anyway because you just don't get this game.

    Teams rule the server not lone wolvs who think 4 walls are the peak of protection and should be unpenetrable. This is not The Sims. Get a team - this will help you farm stuff way faster. Get creative with your builds - there are plenty of solutions to keep your base secure or at least your loot. If you get raided you can just replace the walls.. But you can also go loot other bases to replace your shit and instead of wayting fo a guy to open a door you can blow the door down and storm in there CQC style. Bet you never did that on your indistrucable cinde walls servers.

    so you have to place your jammer first.... what if you want it on a floor or raised up of fthe ground by a few storys...... cant do that if you cant build a few items first....

     

    the devs have implemented a system to stop the build limit.... you know the base maintenance every 7 days else your building parts disappear...

    its there for a reason. ie to clear all the random stud walls floors and ramps people dump around. 

     

    so if you build like i do ie you build your jammer room first then place your jammer and build the rest of the base around the secure room....

    Valide point but still the server build limit creates some shit situations... like you build your safe room and when you want to build your jammer "world limit reached"

    This can be addressed by giving us the option to move the jammer. Coz ffs you can move giant ass cinder walls you should be able to move a jammer / shelf / teepee if you where the one that set it down... sort of like like the lock box.

    My point still stands. Even with all the requirements ( hatchet , energy , build materials ) the amount of abandoned base parts on the map is still a problem. They can even make it so that base parts not inside a jammer area decay faster like 48h to clear up the server faster. Also there needs to be a limit to how many base parts a jammer can protect. other wise people will build 999999999 wood walls to reserve build space in the world and blow them up when they need to build their real stuff.

     

    New thing i found out today is that if you blow up a car next to base parts they reappear after restart... so you need actual explosives to get rid of them. Can't just phile a base on top of a gass station and blow it up either, same thing happens.

  6. It would be a good Idea to make satchels as rare as lockboxes maybe so peoaple have to ser 3 or 4 explosive charges at every door. This way the option is there if you want it but it's  hard to do and with charges there is a good chance the building will still be standing. Besides the point of the game is to build your entire base out of cinder / corugate... not use a run down house.

  7. I think the way it is now is better. We will have safes soon to store our gold bars and sell them when we need krypto.

    A bank would only maybe ease the re gear process after a respawn but you can't buy backpaks or clothes coz nobody can sell them and a vest and guns you can get by running to the nearest chapels and looting a few houses on the way.

     

    It will not add anything to the game except ruin the survival feeling. I would do away with safe zone traders and just implement random respawns so that you can regroup in on place if you want or you can respawn random to avoid spawn camping.
