Knightmare Posted June 15, 2015 Report Share Posted June 15, 2015 Server: Epoch Pro #1 Game Version: 1.46 Epoch Version: .3.0.3.0 Problem: Under controls and controllers, joystick will not appear as a connected controller. Restarting computer, game, reinstalling device drivers, unplugging and plugging back in will not fix problem. After disabling epoch mod, joystick appears again as connected controller. Re-enabling epoch will again cause joystick to not be recognized as connected controller, though it's inputs will still statically appear on the configure controls page. Anyone know a solution? Knightmare Posted June 15, 2015 Author Report Share Posted June 15, 2015 I have discovered a temporary fix, however there is still an innate problem that needs to be fixed by the developers. On that thread, reply 72 by Infiltrator, quoted here, fixed it: " I played last night for several hours without a single disconnect. My workaround is simply not to go into the configuration settings. If I do it's guaranteed the controllers will disappear. If I need to reconfigure my settings I do it then totally reboot the PC. I've noticed even after I've done this the joystick still plays up by pulling to one side for short period of time before centering itself all on its own. So, just to reiterate: if you want to avoid these annoying disconnects stay out of the control's config settings, and if you do have to reconfigure reboot you machine before loading Arma back up." So, there is not a problem until you attempt to load the settings to rebind the keys. At that point, the joystick disappears. I have tried this with epoch both enabled and disabled, online and offline, and this is an epoch only problem, whether it is online of offline makes no difference.
