On both my servers (Napf & Sauerlands) I have the kill message working intermittently... (sometimes the kill message appears on screen, sometimes it just appear the standard one).
I've investigated my RPT and I found that when it's not working I have:
22:40:25 "PDEATH: Player Died xxxxx"
22:40:25 "PHIT: B 1-1-C:1 (xxxx) REMOTE was hit by B 1-1-I:1 (xxxxx) REMOTE with M110_NVG_EP1 from 440.409m with 0.978808 dmg"
22:59:51 "PDEATH: Player Died xxxx"
22:59:51 "PHIT: B 1-1-C:1 (xxxxx) REMOTE was hit by B 1-1-F:1 (xxxxx) REMOTE with M107_DZ from 314.187m with 5.61592 dmg"
While when it's working I have:
22:55:31 "PHIT: B 1-1-I:1 (xxxxx REMOTE was hit by B 1-1-C:1 (xxxxx) REMOTE with LeeEnfield from 134.329m with 1.12919 dmg"
22:55:35 "PKILL: xxxxx was killed by yyyyyy with weapon LeeEnfield from 134.329m"
22:55:35 "PDEATH: Player Died xxxxx"
As far as I understand, it seems that the hit detection is late, however, it is logged successfully every time in the RPT.
Any quick fix I could apply?
