Firefly
Just wondering about the purpose of this, looking at the config files on github I can't see anything majorly different over standard so my question is what has changed between the Epoch config's for the say the BTR-90 and the standard Arma config. (other than the option to remove ammo which makes the vehicle pointless since you cannot get ammunition for the 2A42 in game unless you use a rearm script.) Not a criticism just of late patch notes have been rather vague about weapon changes and what has actually been done to them for Epoch.
Krieger
Apparently, the difference between the Arma 2 files and the Epoch files is that the _DZE vehicles spawn without ammo. It may be possible to use the Arma 2 vehicles in game, but i haven't fully tested it yet. I've been having the same issue with the LAV25_DZE on my server. I'm hoping that the ammo gets scripted in soon. I would assume so, since they added the LAV and BTR-90, which wouldn't make much sense unless there is usauble ammo for them. RipSaw
Yes its possible to use the default arma 2 vehicles on your server aswell, here is the difference: I'll be using the standard LAV25 as an example, but this counts for all of the vehicles. Regular arma 2 vehicle: Classname: LAV25 - Spawns with Ammo - Has Radar _DZ Vehicles: Classname: LAV25_DZ - Spawns with Ammo - Doesn't have Radar _DZE Vehicles: Classname: LAV25_DZE - Spawns without Ammo - Doesn't have Radar You can pick which vehicle you want based on this selection, and then add the desired classname to the trader.
