Friends cant find my server

Hello,

 

I have made a epoch server on my home computer and it works great for me but my friends cant find it. i had one friend be able to log on to it but no one else could even find it. i was wondering if anyone else was having this problem? any help would be good been trying all weekend to get it to work even uninstalled every thing.

It's on your home computer? Do you have a static IP from your ISP? What IP are your friends trying to connect to? Your friends should be able to search for your server by IP address. If they can not then your firewall is most likely to blame. You need to add rules to permit the Arma2OAServer executable that's in your server folder to go through the firewall.

i have allowed it through the firewall and have done port forwarding the ip is 127.0.0.1 which is a localhost but even using hamachi i had one connect but my other friends cant join

When you have someone connect to you remotely, you have to give them your external IP. 192.168.x.x and 127.0.0.1 is internal network ips.

 

Use whatismyip.com to get your external IP
