travis90
So you need to install them in order from what number is on the upgrade icon. You also have to be out of the car to install the upgrade. You dont need to install all 4 at once.. You must be using a civilian vehicle for the upgrade. jj808
So they wont install on the Military Offroad but will install on the Armored SUV?
veeshan
No, it won't work on an armored SUV. It pretty much just works on the crappy civilian 4 wheel cars.
jj808
The Lada's? Why?
Eegore
So the Ladas and S1203s etc. can operate at the speed/armor etc of the SUV and other vehicles.
veeshan
The admin on our server spawned some manuals so we could test the changes. We used a crappy red hatchback as our testbed. Speed: Without the manual, the hatchback could only manage in the 20s on the offroad surface we used (standard field). With the upgrade, it was able to achieve SUV speeds offroad (50s) Durability: We used 10 STANAG rounds from a MK16. 10 rounds destroyed the un-upgraded hatchback, but barely seemed to dent the upgraded one. It was even able to take quite a few shots from a m107 before succumbing to engine damage. Cargo and fuel boost are self explanatory. Cargo will basically make it 20/100 instead of 10/50. Fuel gives you a huge tank so you have to refill less often. Overall, if you are willing to put in the time investment to gather the manuals, you can turn a worthless crapkicker 4 wheeled civi car into a vehicle that is at least on par with or slightly better than an unarmed humvee.
