Epoch assets in Eden Editor

Hi, I am trying to build a custom mission in Eden editor, so I add a boat and add some items on it: A re breather, some ammo and other gear.

I noticed that when Epoch mod is installed, the unit player cannot access the inventory in vehicles through the vehicle menu, but through the player Gear (Pressing "G"). Everything goes back to normal if epoch is disabled.

Is this normal? I do not mind really accessing the gear this way but I wonder if this is actually a bug that will affect the mission, or perhaps the whole game, single player included?

I will appreciate any insight.
