Tag Friendly issue

Hello!

 

For some reason, tag friendly option does not appear at all for any players. Its odd too because I first thought, maybe I have done something to the mission with some minor mods that might of changed it.. but I first set up the mods and test on my own server from my own pc using friends to join and test. Everything works fine there. I upload the mission files and run the server from the dedicated box and it doesn't show up.. 

 

I cant find a lot of information on the tag friendly as far as issues, what am I missing or where should I check?

have a look in your init.sqf for the following line

 

DZE_ForceNameTags = true;

 

i think it was added my default last patch

Doesnt that enforce that players cant hide their names? where as I am referring to friendly tags. I still want players to decide to show their tags or not, but have the tag friendly option also. As it should be.

Have you figured anything out about this?  I've reset all default settings, wiped my database, reinstalled from scratch, and still no friendly tags...   There is no line "DZE_ForceNametags" in my init.

I figured out what it was..  If you upload a mission pbo from another server you'll need to change the instance ID in the the init.sqf to whatever is on your default mission pbo on the new server.
