How does the bandit humanity system work?

I have a question regarding the bandit system in 1061.

how does the system work? we observed on our server, that the humanity seems to auto update itself to a positive value over time.

is this the case?

for example a player on our server is bandit but without him doing anything he gets some plus humanity over time it seems.

can you enlighten us/ me on this matter?
