[Solved] Takistan Out Of Map Spawn.

Hi guys, i just setup my own takistan server for me and a friend, however when i spawn in i spawn about 20km out of the map.

 

I tried deleting my dump because i thought it was saving my old psition but that didnt work, has anyone else encountered the problem, or is there anyway to fix this, thanks!

Check your takistan.h file, default ones look fine, yours should look like this :

            { "Transport_N_EPOCH", { -0.286865, 8.17383, -10.3098 }, "", { 4695.13,9215.56,0.00141907 } },
            { "Transport_W_EPOCH", { -14.4316, 0.112793, -10.3098 }, "", { 6028.83,1118.3,0.00149536 } },
            { "Transport_C_EPOCH", { 13.5127, 0.410156, -10.3098 }, "", { 6817.97,4988.9,0.00137329 } }

 

The 2nd set of numbers are the spawn positions, all within the map boundries, are you should you deleted the dump.rdb file ? that is your database, be sure to stop Redis before deleting.

Check your RPT for any errors as well, post on pastebin.com if you're unsure what's normal and what's not :)

Oh now i understand, i have the wrong mods setup for takistan, i was under the impression that the only mod i need was AiA, could you please tell me what mods are needed for takistan? I searched for the file you described but i cannot find it.

You do just need AiA TP, Takistan is included, just make sure you set your config.cfg to choose the epoch.Takistan.pbo file, the rest is automatic.

If you've not touched the takistan.h file then i suspect an old database is being used, so stop Redis, delete the dump.rdb file, restart Redis, restart the server.

Ah i fixed it, turns out that redis was running in the background! Thanks man you are a complete ledge!
