Adding Custom Skin HELP!

Okay, Here's the scoop. I run a Overpoch server, I've noticed that a Ghillie Suit addon is included with the mod (Specifically Overwatch). The problem I'm having is I don't know how to add the skins to a in game clothing parcel and make it spawn throughout the map. The biggest issue I'm having is that either I cannot for the life of me find the classnames for the ghillie suits or they just don't have one at all and I have to some how make one for it (which I don't know how to do :p)

 

Below I have all the information I have on the skins themselves.

• All the skins are .paa files located in the addon .pbo file

They only have skins that you can wear, that's it. You'd have to modify config files and add extra gear items that references back to those skins and allows you wear them, but you can't do that by normal means unless clients downloads the edited or extra pbo file.

 

Workaround would be hacky scripts, like adding extra options to existing skin items using the popular extra_rc method or making a dialog of some sorts that lets you do this.. activated by an action added to a trader. There are scripts around here that let you do this.

Just to get the confusion out of the way - again you can only do this if skins already exist.

fairly easy to do. but don't forget to also make the sqf files for the suites.. and add them like a script.. you can also make it so that only people on the list can see the menu. I did something like this with the help of freaky freds wardrobe skins. then modified it to other servers with all skins available on arma2. but this was about 1.5 years ago. I could try to possibly help. I'd have to look for the code I made.
