After a server restart  our server with Vilayer ... states:  This server is running an incorrect version of the server side application. You cannot play on this server. If you are the server admin please contact dayz epoch staff.

 

 

+We also did not change anything towards the server...

 

RPT file states something with it not connecting to the hive...

 

Then what we did on our end we've reinstalled everything and fresh mission and database and it still saying we have wrong version...........

 

 

Just a constant cycle of problems with vilayer...

 

 

Any thoughts? We have backups and stuff to put back in but it just keeps saying were running an incorrect version.

str_epoch_player_112 means your message:

I had the same issue recently, this was my server hosts reply after they fixed the issue. Hope it helps you.

 

The issue was with MS Visual C++. Even though the version used by Epoch was not touched, another version was installed on the box and for whatever reason, this appears to have caused an issue for your Epoch server.

Had this issue with Vilayer server too. Goto your ACPLayer and use the steam update icon. Not sure why/how it fixed it for me... it just did! Hope this works for you too.
