How frequent is data written to the DB

I'm currently experiencing on my server that I build parts of my house, then maybe 20 mins or so later there is a server restart and it has all disappeared :(

 

How often is the player data, or whatever the building items belong to, written to the database? It's beginning to get real repetetive finding/buying mats and then just losing them

There's a serious lag writing to your database then. Stuff should get written to it immediately as you place it. Even on a heavy pop server it shouldn't take more than a few seconds.

May want to report the issue to your host, and possibly clean out your database or just simply wipe it
