The difference between Advanced and Easy flight mode?

Hi, so I wanted to know is the default flight mode in Arma 3 (where you can learn to fly a helicopter in VR etc.) is the advanced one or easy mode? Cause I have been learning that one and now not sure if in Epoch server it will differ and how it will differ.

 

I found the default flying in Arma 3 quite hard, it was almot impossible to land in certain spot without auto-hover function, but I did it one time and then learned auto-hover.

 

But anyway, just wanted to know if the default in Arma 3 is advanced (this new model) or not?

Most servers the new system looks like this:

 

It is really a matter of preference and how you like to play. My opinion is the new system is awesome.... if you use a joystick. If you fly with a keyboard i would turn off the new system and use the old.

Most server you join will have advanced mode disabled people suck at flying there maybe 1 out of 100 who is pro at it lol

Yeah now I look into my settings and all is set to "standard" which means I have been learning the easy mode heh. Gonna try the advanced one.

 

 

Edit: yeah, tried the advanced model... Took off... flew easily... but landing is much more hardcore, heh. Also, if auto trim would be enabled it would not be so bad though, cause with trim disabled I almost crashed.

i could also do with a little help with this:

 

i finally figured out to set the server so it doesn't use the difficult setting (in description file). But because I messed with my in-game settings, I now cannot fly like I used to. I've tried resetting to default and presets, but I can't make it work. By this, I mean that the cyclic up/down is very difficult to control...not like it used to be. I've changed the rest, but those controls don't seem to want to behave.

 

What did I break?
