Server initializing -> Connection to host has been lost

Hello!

I'm having a problem with the newly set up Arma 3 Epoch server.
When I try to join, I get stuck on Server Initializing for about a minute or so when I lose connection to the server. It doesn't crash or anything because its still up and running and I can join without any problems.

Any ideas?

I also noticed that right before Server initializing, the yellow chain appears for a split second.

I have the exact same problem. I tried changing the password in both the redis and epochserver.ini and it never fixed it. 

Tried using the files that HvD provided in the link but that never worked either. 

I followed the install instructions correctly and tried other ways but to no avail!

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I've been waiting to host this mod for so long!

Anyone getting that odd error "server not ready (02)" and kick to lobby ? 

 

Starting getting that and not sure what is causing it.

 

I had this error, I updated my @Epoch files for client side and that fixed it but then had a "Server Initializing" and stuck on that, no help with it though

I got it working, apparently the redis process had died and I didn't notice it.

I have one more question though, how do you set up BEC to work with redis? In the installer it asks you for the password to the hive.txt etc.

This can be caused by two reasons as i found out:

 

Redis not running

You did not unblock files on Windows server. (We disabled this "super" security feature due to several problems)

As newer windows versions blocks not only dlls but a lot of file which are copied from another computer you have to unblock them. otherwise they will not load. this is a serious problem to a lot of "bugs" happening here

Has anyone tried Running a Arma 2 epoch & Arma 3 Epoch on the same server? ( Windows Server 2012 R2 SSD HD ) I Im having a issue starting up my Redis with Bec running with my arma 2 Ded going. If I shut down BEC Redis will start.. Arma 2 / Arma 3 server ports are different Passwords are seperat from Arma 2 & Arma 3...

 

Also had the issue with Redis having the error and not saving the Db... Windows Page file is set at 2073mb
