happydayz
With regards to upping server files to a server provider... Everything makes sense to me like a normal arma 3 mod server install... except for step 3. I understand what it is doing... I just dont know how you can do it without physical access to the box. I mean I can can run this all fine on my own PC as a dedicated box, as I can run the redis-server.exe myself, but how do you call the redis-server.exe from a provided server? Like is it called in the server.cfg etc? 3. Open "DB" folder and start redis-server.exe with the parameter "redis.conf" or use start-redis.cmd. (Only one redis instance is needed per box, All servers connecting to the same redis will share character data by default.) Hope it makes sense :)
Gamewalker
U cant setup this on your own. Your server provider needs to provide a redis server for you. Redis is something like a database and usually the provider gives u access to it.
