What's going on.

I've been trying to log onto epoch and once i actually get into the game my guy just dies on the spawning island. Won't let me respawn or nothing.

 

Also a buddy of mine is trying to log in and is just getting kicked over and over.

Yep the BDkoth2 one. Well maybe, it was one on the website.

 

Also is the current loot situation actually a bug? Stuff barely spawning especially if playing solo. Is this intended or an actual bug.

If you play alone the loot is far less yes.

My guess is it's a bug and not really planned. How loot spawning works is that every player spawns a defined amount of loot, if you are with more people that amount will stack, so with 6 players there will be helluva much loot. Also it's apparently made so that different players wont spawn loot to the same building

If you keep on dying when you try to respawn, next time you die don't click respawn and wait for the 10 minute timer to run out. After it runs out you should automatically respawn, this time without dying again instantly. Is your friend getting an error message when he is kicked? He needs to have the correct version of Arma 3 (it just updated) and also make sure the mod is enabled.
