DZAI not spawning Dynamic

I'm having an issue where we don't want to have static spawning AI, but the dynamic doesn't seem to be working. Not sure if i've broken something in my config (linked at the bottom)

I've got 2 land patrols and 4 helis's possible and they are spawning no issue, but the ai on foot are nowhere to be found. Help is appreciated!

Your cfg looks ok to me, try this:

 

Set DZAI_debugLevel = 1;

 

This will output to your server RPT all the basic stuff that DZAI such as DZAI dynamic spawns, DZAI static spawns, DZAI vehicle spawns etc.

 

Run your server for a while and check the RPT and it will tell you whats DZAi is doing and might help you resolve/debug this.

Unless i'm readding it wrong its showing that ai are spawning but there is nothing in the infinistar map icons to indicate they are there. I can see mission ai spawn, and the ai traders but for hours we played last night with the above cfg and didn't come accross a single ai aside from the one in the cars and helis'

Edit the settings below to change the spawn probability.  DZAI DynamicAI  aren't instant, they build up a spawn probability and randomly select a player on the server to spawn on out of all the players who have reached the maximum spawn probability.

 

//Time (seconds) required to reach maximum spawn probability per player, after which the probability is reset to 0%. Lower number = More frequent spawns, Higher Number = Less frequent. (Recommended range: 1200-2700, Default: 1800)
DZAI_maxSpawnTime = 1800;

//Time (seconds) to allow each player to retain maximum spawn probability. (Default: 1800).
DZAI_keepMaxSpawnTime = 1800;

 

 

I realise you probably have the DZAI_maxSpawnTime set to 10 for testing, but it will affect your server FPS by hitting max spawn probability within 10 seconds of login. :)

Yes that was to try to force them to spawn. I finally went back to 2800 after setting debug I noticed that quite ouften a player would fail a probability check. If I'm understanding correctly, it takes 30 minutes to build to 100 probability, and then they retain that probability until 30 minutes has passed our an ai group spawns correct? Is there a way to ensure that when they spawn they aren't 6m from the player as I have been seeing?

Also noticing that the dynamic spawns just seem to not occur in certain areas like one of the called on tavi, as long as a player stays there no ai spawn, but one of the mountains to the west of the yellow fields in tavi seems to be a perfect place for them to spawn
