RCON issue

Hi guys, recently got a Epoch server set up hosted by Vert Hosting

 

I've downloaded Rcon tool to help manage the server from outside of the game, and for some strange reason it connects perfectly fine, shows player list, database, etc all fine..

However if I go to send a message over Global admin chat it only has a very small chance of going through..

 

That becomes a bit of an issue when I need to notify players that the server is being reset in 10 minutes.

 

Any ideas what could be causing this issue?

 

I find it strange that occasionally the messages will actually go through.

Which rcon tool are you using ?

I've tried all that has been suggested to me,

 

I currently use BattleWarden, just tried using EPM DayZ RCon as well but messages still aren't going through.

 

I've also tried just using the basic RCON tool which opens up the command window.

 

What I don't understand is that sometimes it works for half hour or so, other times it won't.

 

Also when it's not working the reminder about keeping your CD key safe blah blah blah doesn't get shown either, so it's like BEC shuts down or something?

I have identified and fixed an issue where scheduled messaging fails after a time.

Been meaning to dig out the fix and put a pull request in..

Oh okay so how would I go about fixing this issue?

Is there a scheduler that sends periodic messages out to the server ? Do they fail after a time Also ?

Will try out this battle Warden..

No I haven't set up a scheduler for messages yet, the BattleEye CD key message comes up by default, however it only comes up occasionally, sometimes it won't come up even once a day.
