Building Glitch

When you have an item moving around to place, you can go into your inventory, drop that item whilst it is still in your hands. When you drop it, you can successfully place the floor with the crate of the same item on the ground.

 

However, when you try placing that same crate that you dropped before, the original floor disappears. Meaning it isn't really a duplication glitch, but it is still a problem.
