DeceitfulPhoenix
For anyone too lazy to bother checking the subreddit, this is the OP's reddit post Mod looks more and more promising every day. Dev team openness is awesome! I have supported Epoch Mod on "Make Arma not War[1] " website and I recommend everyone to do the same (have I mentioned, that you will get 30% discount on A3?). Question to the community: what do You think about adding vehicle customization to Epoch Mod? I would love to see any mechanical car tuning system. It does not have to be extremely complex. Increasing just speed stat by a fitting better fuel pump, ECU, pistons, turbocharger, exhaust would be fun! Adding these parts to a player's inventory would make looting and trading even richer experience. One of the devs said on stream, that team is currently working on a skill system. I think car customization efficiency could depend on "car mechanic" skill, for example: "Medium power turbocharger" installed by a lvl7 car mechanic could add 20 points to car speed stat. The same turbo installed by a lvl1 car mechanic could add only 10 points to car speed stat. We could also improve car durability and prevent it from explosion in case of collision by crafting a safety cage - a frame made from tubes like one of those in [2] . Do You have any similar ideas, guys? Dependent on how advanced and complicated the system is would determine how effective it is as an in game mechanic but definitely sounds like something that could work quite well if implemented in a similar fashion to the vehicle upgrades from A2
Dr Weshnaw
When I saw the reddit post, my first thought was the way a arma 2 wasteland server did it. Where you basically put base building parts on your car but Jack's method is a lot better :P
B_Dubz TwitchTv
I just want the hatchbacks currently in game to be more durable for now. It is kind of funny but not funny that you can't even run over a stop sign and then have a tire blow out. That happens 50% of the time.

B_Dubz TwitchTv
Arma is a realistic game. We are used to indestructible cars from NFS, and we don't realise how dangerous are stop signs in real life? :o LOL yeah i could see why.
