Plot Pole Message

Hey guys,

Is there a way to have a message pop up on the screen every time someone places a plot pole? Thanks guys!

Should be pretty easy but to what end ?.  You could also report to the RPT file or have something checking the DB for any new plot poles saved in to object_data and tie it to a web front end (for admins etc) if desired.  Lots of ways to do it, the best way depends on your desired overall outcome.

I would just like a message to appear across the screen reminding the player to maintain the plot pole. Thanks for your help!

Something like

 

if (_ispole) then {

  cutText ["Maintain it or loose it !" , "PLAIN DOWN"];

};

 

at the end of the player_build.sqf should do the job.
